These are items that I have used personally, or that have been recommended and used by others. You will find a mix of options that range from fairly inexpensive to expensive. I only recommend items that I know will work and that are worth every penny. I hope you will find some good swaps here that will help you and your family live a less toxic lifestyle.

Casaware Ceramic Baking Pans

These are a less expensive option and work just as well as Caraway.

Glass Oil Sprayer

Any brand will work, but opt for glass. I have two, one for Avocado Oil and the other for Olive Oil to easily get the oil on the pan while cooking.

Silicone Baking Mats

A great non-stick option that is easy to clean, but won’t leach toxins into your food while cooking.

Caraway Ceramic Pans

These are more expensive but they are worth the extra expensive if you are able. They will last longer than the Casaware with proper care.

Stainless Steel Mesh Colander Set

You can do with just one of these if needed, but getting the set comes in handy. These are fairly inexpensive but you may be able to find them even cheaper at TJ Maxx or a similar store.

Le Creuset Bakeware

I know these are a bit pricey but they are 100% worth it. I have the covered dishes, and they keep the moisture in and heat food perfectly. And they still look like they’ve never been used.

Viking Stainless Steel Pots and Pans

I have the copper set and I LOVE them. They were a fairly inexpensive option and they are absolutely beautiful.

Glasslock Storage Containers

I have had my set for over a year and they still look brand new! If you can’t get them at the link provided, you can also get them on Amazon.

Silicone Utensils

I do not have this exact brand because I purchased mine from TJ Maxx. However, these are similar in looks and to what I received in the set.

Lodge Seasoned Cast Iron Skillet

You don’t necessarily need to get a set, just one will be great! But these are a wonderful alternative to stainless steel if you have a gas stove.

Unbleached Parchment Paper

Unbleached means no chlorine! I use these, and the silicone mats to replace aluminum foil.

Silicone Storage Bags

I love these bags so much I bought two of them. They close up well, you can wash them in the dishwasher, and they can stand up.

Force of Nature Cleaner

You can use this as an anti-bacterial and a multi-purpose cleaner, why have two different cleaners when you can just have one?

Bon Ami Cleaner

This will clean your sinks, and your bathroom, and make your stainless steel pans look brand new. It’s cheap and it goes a long way.

Cleaning

Blueland Dishwasher Detergent

I do not have to use a rinse aid with these tablets and it’s wonderful! Just one tablet and your dishes are clean.

Crae Microfiber Towels

If you want a Geometry towel that’s a little bit cheaper, shop at Crae! they also have a sale section where you can get towels for $15 or less.

Unscented Castile Soap

This has many uses. I use it in my DIY laundry and DIY Hand Soap. It’s simple and effective and doesn’t contain any colors, sulfates, parabens or perfumes.

Organic Reusable Paper Towels

They do not make the ones I use in my home but these are very close! Highly absorbent, no bleach or chlorine and easy to throw in your washer to clean.

Grove Co. Dish Soap

This soap is not perfectly clean. But if you miss the fun seasonal scents but without a lot of the junk they put in products, this dish soap works great.

Coconut Scouring Pad

This is not a harsh scrubbing pad, and it’s made from a natural and sustainable source.

Liquid Foundation

I have tried a few brands to compete with the non-toxic foundations, and this one wins it all! It goes on like silk, it provides natural coverage, it smells amazing, and it doesn’t make me look orange. Their SPF is just as wonderful!

Rooted Beauty Facial Cleanser

This facial cleanser is EWG certified and it is effective at removing makeup and gentle on my skin.

Contour Trio

I have this set and it works wonderfully! Their highlighter is the *chef’s kiss* best I’ve found so far.

Makeup Remover Pads

These are microfiber pads that you can wash and reuse many many times. I have used these for years and they are able to get your makeup off with just water.

Eye Primer

It’s been hard finding a good eye primer with clean ingredients. This goes on smooth and holds powder eye shadows really well!

Honest Liquid Eyeliner

EWG verified, smudge-proof and easy to apply? Sign me up! I have used this for 2 years now and I don’t plan on changing anytime soon.

Thrive Mascara

Thrive mascara is not the cleanest, BUT, it has been my favorite mascara because it doesn’t flake off, it’s water resistant, and it’s better than many other brands.
